Wets bank of Luxor Day Tour

Luxor, an enchanting city where Pharaonic history merges seamlessly with the charm and spirit of its people. Once Egypt’s capital from the Middle Kingdom to the New Kingdom, Luxor stands as a testament to ancient Egypt’s achievements across various fields. In recognition of its timeless heritage, UNESCO designated Luxor a World Heritage Site in 1979, celebrating the city’s deeply rooted greatness and authenticity.

One of the most awe-inspiring areas in Luxor is the West Bank Luxor, home to three of the most famous ancient Egyptian landmarks: the Valley of the Kings, a powerful testament to Egypt’s ancient connection with the afterlife, housing the tombs of many Pharaohs; the Temple of Hatshepsut, showcasing the grandeur and mastery of this remarkable queen; and the Colossi of Memnon, demonstrating the boundless creativity of the ancient Egyptians. All this and more can be explored on a Luxor day tour with us, accompanied by an expert guide who will provide detailed explanations to help you feel as if you are stepping back into this historic era.

Valley of the Kings Tour

In an atmosphere that transports you to an era shrouded in mystery, and guided by an expert, we begin our Luxor day tour in the Valley of the Kings—the place chosen by the pharaohs to dwell in the afterlife. This valley contains over sixty tombs dating back to the New Kingdom period and is home to the tombs of many renowned Egyptian rulers, such as Ramses II and Queen Hatshepsut. The valley is renowned for its remarkable wall paintings, with some still vividly colorful and others adorned with intricate designs that reflect the skill and vision of their creators. Perhaps the most enchanting feature of the valley is what we will uncover in the next part of our Valley of the Kings tour.

Discovered by the British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922, the tomb of Tutankhamun was found in remarkably well-preserved condition despite the passage of millennia. This tomb, containing over 5,000 artifacts, remains one of the most remarkable archaeological discoveries in history. Visitors can purchase a separate ticket to experience this exclusive wonder, as it is not included in the general entry.
